About Mike
With over 18 years of experience in technology, I'm passionate about creating cutting-edge solutions in software engineering, AI/ML, IT operations, and enterprise PMO. I've led more than 50 teams in different businesses and managed projects worth more than $100 million in business and technology. From building IT departments from scratch to developing large-scale technology projects, I've honed my skills in Agile development practices, Enterprise Project Portfolio Management, IT Support Operations, and IT Service Management. As a proud recipient of the Bronze Star Medal during my time in the US Army, I bring dedication and commitment to excellence to everything I do.
Outside of work, I love exploring new places with my wife, cheering on my kids at their sporting events, and enjoying some downtime with hobbies like smoking meat, tinkering with software development projects, and playing video games with my boys. I strongly believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and finding fulfillment in both my personal and professional life. By combining my technical knowledge, strategic vision, and leadership skills, I strive to help businesses reach their goals and create innovative solutions to complex problems.
Achievements
- Created IT department from the ground up for a startup, including tools, processes, staffing, and support for infrastructure, cybersecurity, software engineering, help desk assistance, and operations.
- Led the strategic development and continuous implementation of over 50 vital technology initiatives, focused on addressing the enterprise's highest priority objectives, over a 2-year period.
- Formulated and implemented strategic technology roadmap to meet the business operational needs, fostering partnerships for plan execution, mitigating enterprise risk, and streamlining technology complexity.
